PT, DPT

Towi (pronounced Toe-E) completed her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at SUNY Upstate Medical University (Syracuse, NY) in June 2018, where she received High Honors. Her undergraduate study was in Biology and Human Development at SUNY Geneseo (Geneseo, NY) which was completed in May 2014 where she was awarded Magna Cum Laude.

Towi discovered her passion for patients with pelvic floor related conditions early in her graduate education and sought various clinical experiences, coursework, and research opportunities to expand her knowledge base and skill set. She completed Pelvic Floor Level 1 Training (adult female pelvic floor dysfunction) through the Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute as a student, and recently completed a course through the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) on “Physical Therapy Treatment of the Pediatric Pelvic Floor Patient: Birth to 18 Years Old.” She is a current member of the APTA, the Section on Women’s Health, and the Women’s Health Sector’s Early-Professionals Special Interest Group.

One of Towi’s primary goals is to increase awareness in the community and health sector on the role that pelvic floor physical therapy plays in improving quality of life. She intends to reach patients of all ages, genders, and conditions utilizing a holistic and patient-centered approach. In her free time Towi enjoys running, hiking, yoga, concerts, watching sports and spending time with friends and family!
